Canary wont load goog Docs / Sheets (documents)

Reported by j...@validusdata.com, Dec 2 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.3 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. login to a google drive acct (or pull up docs directly)
2. Create a new / or open an existing docs or sheets document
3. interface partially loads, but stops

Chrome console shows this error:

Refused to execute inline script because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'strict-dynamic' 'unsafe-eval' 'unsafe-inline' https: 'nonce-cZOw56e0tIyznWq3foqp5lqeH0A'". Note that 'unsafe-inline' is ignored if either a hash or nonce value is present in the source list.

or on a different PC with same version of canary (different goog drive acct) i see that error above, plus this one below (in console): Failed to load Resource net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I figured this was an issue with my cache / app data, so i deleted all appdata , did a full uninstall + install (and tried chrome cleanup tool). Issue still exists. Decided to remote in to a different pc offsite, same issue there with up-to-date version of canary.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 64.0.3282.3 Channel: canary
OS Version: 10.0

hi, wanted to update, this morning i tried docs again, this time on a 3rd PC (at a different physical location), and one that has never had Canary nor Chrome ever installed. I did a install of canary, and then tried to access docs (new docs document, or old) and am seeing the exact same issue.

see screen shot.
