Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. I opened my yahoo mail in an incognito tab 2. I am browsing the mail and clicking on links (and closing them out) 3. I left the tab open for about a week 4. The tab is now at ~1.3GB and earlier today was at 1.6GB What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? I really don't know if this is expected behavior or not. I have a lot of tabs open and this one tab that I have incognito takes up a HUGE amount of memory, 10-100x that of other tabs. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: Version 63.0.3239.52 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) Channel: beta OS Version: 6.1 Flash Version: My theory is maybe as I click on links in yahoo mail and open up webpages, which I then close, the memory isn't reclaimed over time? It seems like if that was it this would be a known issue, but I searched and didn't find anything.

@Reporter:Could you please retry the scenario by removing all extensions. If the issue stills persist, it would be great if you could provide chrome://gpu details and a "memory-infra" trace. When the system gets in this state: Follow below steps 1) Navigate to about:tracing 2) hit "record" in the upper left 3) select ""manually select settings"" 4) Make sure all checkmarks are clear other than "memory-infra" in the right column 5) hit record and allow the trace to run for ~30s before stopping it. 6) save the trace (upper left-hand corner) and attach here Thanks!

This happened again today in stable 63.0.3239.108 64-bit. I recorded a trace but it contains the name of the tabs which is too much information. One of the tabs is yahoo mail and I opened two other tabs from yahoo mail which became part of the same process. In other words the process has 3 tabs. It is using about 2GB of memory. About half of that seems to be in v8. I have attached a screenshot.

This issue is not reproducible from TE end. Could someone from V8 team please have a look at attached screenshot. Thanks!

Without a trace it will be hard to analyze this issue further.
