Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to codepen in chrome versus safari https://codepen.io/susielu/pen/rYQmdw?editors=1100 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? On line 9 of the HTML section <g id="shadow" style="fill: var(--shadowcolor, #066C62);"> this variable fill property should be honored in the paths within in. The shadow colors should match what I see in the safari.png version. What went wrong? The SVG g element's style should be inherited by its children. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0

Removing/commenting out the 'svg g' selector - and thus the 'transition' of the 'fill' property "fixes" the resolution of 'fill', so this looks like another instance of issue 618142. |
