Sub-Pixel gap visible between adjacent divs on Pixel 2

Reported by ccr...@twitter.com, Nov 30 2017

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
https://jsfiddle.net/63v9mt5u/show/

What is the expected behavior?
There should be no gap between elements and flex-grown elements.

What went wrong?
Viewing the fiddle on a desktop, it appears just fine. On my Pixel 2 however, I see a pixel or what looks like sub-pixel white line between the header and content (caused by a transparent view to the background container).

Note: This does not appear on a S8 in chrome

Did this work before? N/A
