Hello kebalaji, please reduce the browser window to about the half height, so that the opening bookmarks window is higher than the browser window. Then it should not work. The bookmarks window closes before the hover happens. See the gif recording that I posted above.

I also have this issue and wanted to add that due to presumably the same or similar issue, deleting a bookmark from a scrolling size subfolder shuts all the folders while a non-scrolling length one does not.

Updated to "Chrome Version 66.0.3359.170 (Official Build) (64-bit)", but issue still persists. See screencast. Can you add +0.5 or +1 second delay before the bookmark dropdown closes?

Dear Susan, obviously you haven't read the initial post. You *must* have a folder with many bookmarks (maybe 50+), then this issue appears. Please see again the second half of my initial screencasts, thank you.

Able to reproduce the issue on Win-10 and Ubuntu 17.10 using chrome latest stable #66.0.3359.181 and latest canary #68.0.3438.0. Issue is not seen in OS-Mac. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M60 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!
