Scrolling in Chrome triggers the lock screen on Surface Laptop |
||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 63.0.3225.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit) (cohort: 64-Bit) OS: Win10 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open cnn.com (2) Two finger scroll or touch the screen and drag to scroll The result is that the lock screen is engaged on the device. This is on a Surface Laptop. This is a regression from sometime in the past few months as I haven't used the device in a while and it didn't used to exhibit this bug. I see the same bug w/ 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: Stable). Edge does not have this behavior.

I can get this to repro in Windows Explorer two-finger scrolling (and Chrome not running), suggesting this is a general Windows (or even hardware) issue.

This also repros on Firefox too. Maybe it's Win32 apps only? I didn't look too closely on Edge.

Based off of interactions with other apps, this definitely seems like either a Windows or a hardware issue. Resolving WontFix. Feel free to reopen if new evidence appears. |
