Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Gen 1 lenovo yoga with Intel Sensor Collection driver v3.0.20.3158 11/3/2015 and chrome v62. (earlier versions like the 50's don't crash. 2. Browse to delta.com and then click on the login button or go to staplesadvantage.com or sometimes just staples.com will do it. 3. all open tabs will close including the whole browser. 4. Side note if I went to delta.com then before clicking on login button I go into the settings and clear all cookies, I could get the login page to show, but if I refreshed it would crash. 5. Side note: if I go into device manager and disable the intel sensor collection drivers then chrome won't crash either. What is the expected behavior? Chrome not crashing suddendly. What went wrong? Chrome crashes suddenly with no error message on screen or event log. Crashed report ID: 3c3f2bfe-7116-494c-b976-12d0417646d5 How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes something prior to v62 Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: 27.0.0.187

Tested the issue on windows 7 and 10 (desktop & laptops) using chrome M62 #62.0.3202.94 and M64 #64.0.3280.0 and unable to reproduce the issue. Attached screencast for reference. @MTVTEAM-- Could someone from MTV team please look into this , as inhouse team doesn't have the lenovo yoga with intel sensor collection . Thanks!

You won't be able to duplicate the issue unless you have a Gen 1 Lenovo with the Intel Sensor Collection driver v3.0.20.3158 11/3/2015. This is the latest driver for these devices. When I disable the sensor drivers the problem with chrome goes away. Earlier versions of chrome did not have this problem with the Intel Sensor Collection drivers on the Lenovo Yogas.

Closing this as per C#6 as this seems to be resolved on the latest M-63 stable. Feel free to file a new issue if similar issues are seen on the latest chrome verions. Thank you! |
