Support FaceID properly in Chrome |
|||||||
Issue descriptionCurrently we show the dialog pictured below, we shouldn't show this dialog anymore though. "Do you want to allow "Chrome canary" to use Face ID? This app was designed to support Touch ID. It has not been updated for Face ID" Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r5DU7ZS7TFaxn4DKHbcrwJ3Y51HSK_DD/view Also if Face ID fails, once we support it properly the user should be able to fall back to entering the password or pin code, like it does for Touch ID.

Adding more context from the e-mail thread: * Proposed fix is to update LABiometryType * When Face ID authentication fails, there is no way to fall back to PIN/other auth (screenshot attached). Also attaching the screenshot linked from the description in case the drive link stops working. Due to other team deadlines and my planned holidays, I am unlikely to fix this for M64, so I'm un-assigning this bug from me. I will, however, talk to my manager to see what we can do and whether other iOS engineers on my team could have a look.
