Able to reproduce the issue on the reported chrome version 61.0.3163.100 and on the latest canary 64.0.3279.0 using Mac 10.13.1. As the issue is seen from M50(50.0.2634.0) treating it as non-regression hence marking it as untriaged.

[Mac triage] Is this a platform parity bug or a feature request? As far as I can tell, other Mac apps don't behave this way. Just looking for clarification.

Safari doesn't do this. This would be terrible UX -- it's too easy to force touch accidentally when switching tabs. |
