As per comments #1,4,5 issue is not reproducible from TE team end.Hence adding TE-NeedsTriage Help label.Tentatively adding Blink>Font as this may be rooted to some specific system font. Could someone from respective team help in debugging this. reporter@: Could you please attach the screenshot of chrome://settings/fonts as well. Thanks!

Reproduces on vanilla Windows 10 in both the stable and canary versions of Chrome. Definitively a bug in Chrome (or our underlying font stack). Thanks for the report! It appears to be a problem with the metrics for upper-case Ö in the custom Quicksand font. Does not reproduce on Firefox or Edge on Windows or Chrome on any other platform. Ö is character code 214 which maps to glyph 160 in Quicksand-Bold. Glyph 160 is named "Odieresis" and has an advance width of 722 which is about 140 less than the other upper case variations of O (such as O, Otilde, and Oacute) which all have an advance width of 850. Unlike most other characters in the font it does not have a path defined, instead relying on composition to form the glyph. While we correctly compose the glyph from the individual parts it appears that we dont' get the width right. The hmtx has an entry for Odieresis with the "correct" width of 850.
