Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Add "[*.]html-kit.com" to Cookies "Clear on exit" setting 2. Set a cookie from http://www.html-kit.com/tools/cookietester/ 3. Kill Chrome process thread 4. Re-open Chrome and check cookies list on http://www.html-kit.com/tools/cookietester/ What is the expected behavior? No cookies sent to www.html-kit.com What went wrong? Cookies aren't deleted Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: "Clear on exit" seems to work only during a "standard" app close. On Windows shutdown (sometimes?) process is killed and Cookies remain valid. Checking "Clear on exit" list on app start too will prevent this problem.

hey, thanks for the report. In cases where Chrome doesn't exit cleanly, we retain session information (including cookies) to be able to restore the session should you chose to on next start. |
