Non Responsive Extension - McAfee Endpoint Security

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. utilized the google help
2. tried to repair the extension
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
extension is suppose to be in active status each time a website if visited 

What went wrong?
extension has been nonresponsive

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported version 62.0.3202.94 and latest canary 64.0.3277.0 using Windows 7. 

1. We would suggest you disable the extensions temporarily (you could use chrome://extensions/ on the Chrome address bar) and re-enable them one at a time to determine which extension is misbehaving.
2. Is the issue specific to a website or set of websites or any website that you're trying to access on Chrome?
3. Could you retry the scenario by create a fresh profile 

Please find the attached screen-cast and let us know your observation if the issue still persists, also provide the sample extension that would help us in triaging the issue from TE-end

law.k.davies49, Can you answer the questions in the previous comment?  We're trying to figure out if it's the extension (in general), a combination of the extension and the web pages you're visiting, just the web pages (and a wrong error message), or something else.  thanks!

(I think it's likely that the extension is misbehaving, nothing to do with Chrome.  We'll see.)
