Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Goto twitter.com 2. Hover the like icon 3. Try to inspect the tooltip - it vanishes What is the expected behavior? Need a way to prevent it from vanishing What went wrong? Very hard to debug. The current way is to open devtools source, hover the element, then use keyboard shortcuts to pause js execution, then move to sources panel to debug hovered element in its hovered state. (Hat tip to @PrashantPalikhe on twitter) Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.84 Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version:

Any other solution would basically require a shortcut to freeze JS or disable input events. Pausing JS solves this and many other scenarios with subtle / dynamic content, so we stick to it... |
