Project Member Reported by jmad...@chromium.org, Nov 22 2017

Issue description

He would like it so he can run tests on some work he's planning.

Andrii no idea what labels to use here, can you help?

No, this would be for Chromium. mpichlinksi, can you provide any more info?
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
Then this is requested in committers mailing list. mal@ is still doing that work :)

Although, Ben, is there another better way?
Are there separate ACLs for tryjob and commit access? I recall way back when I had tryjob access without being a committer.
Hi!

I want to look through our Opera chromium changes and submit some of them to chromium. I would like to gain try job access in order to be able to submit changes by myself after review instead of asking every time a reviewer for doing it. Without tryjob access submitting change to commit queue ends with following error:
"only full committers or CL owner with tryjob access are allowed to trigger CQ"

Status: Fixed (was: Assigned)
Granted.
Try Cq+1. Cq+2 is for committers only.
Cq+1 also ends with an error saying that committer or cl owner with trybot can access dry run:

Maybe commit queue bot message is obsolete and only committers can submit/dry run changes to commit queue.
