Regression:Play store window is seen misplaced when internal display is rotated to 0 degree angle |

Issue descriptionChrome Version:64.0.3274.0/10151.0.0 dev channel Minnie,Jerry,Reks OS:Chrome OS ARC What steps will reproduce the problem? (1)Sign into user ->launch Playstore (2)Press Ctrl+Shift+Reload(to rotate the overlay) (3)Rotate to 0 degree angle once and Observe the misplaced overlay(please refer video) -OR- (1)Launch Playstore window (2)Open chrome://settings/display >> change the orientation to 90/180/270 and back to 0 and Observe the play store window Actual: Playstore window gets misplaced when internal display is rotated to 0 degree angle Expected: Instead, it shouldn't seen misplaced This is a Regression issue as same is working fine M-60.0.3112.118/9592.100.0 stable channel Minnie Note: 1.Issue is not seen in Linux,Windows OS and also in other chrome Non-ARC devices 2.Able to reproduce the issue on latest M-62 stable channel swanky @stevenjb: Please confirm the issue

This is probably because the window is just place at the center, not laid out in center. I'm not sure how important this is. Assigning to sweet@ for triage.

I think this is WAI and not really ARC issue. I did similar test with ordinal Chrome window. Ppen any Chrome browser window. Go out of full-screen mode. Put the window somewhere in the center. Press rotation combination 4 times. Now window is not in the center. IIUC this happens when display goes to portrait mode and we don't have enough space to preserve left position and window is shifted left. Once we go to landscape mode previous left position is preserved. +Xiyuan in case he may add something else. |
