reveman@, do you have any idea on this issue? (the noises on actuallines.gif)

Don't know. That's webui so the issue is likely in blink or raster related. If we turned on GPU raster on these boards recently then it might be related to that. Does it go away if you disable "GPU rasterization" in about:flags?

Thank you for the information! I assumed the icons on the shelf were not webui (were they?). rkalavakuntla@, could you disable "GPU rasterization" in about:flags and see if it still reproduces?

Hi reveman@ (Re: #5), > That's webui so the issue is likely in blink or raster related. The icons on the shelf have noise. It seems that the noise is not limited to webui. This reproduces even after disabling the "GPU rasterization" in about:flags. Could you help me triage this issue to do further investigations?

This is probably something that skia or blink paint folks need to diagnose. Can you reproduce this with a chromeos build on your desktop?

Note: This is not a M64 regression as I've seen this happening on other devices (lulu) in older versions. I think it's reproducible on slower/older devices.

The following revision refers to this bug: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/e8cd111aeb3e14717a2e41d9bed76207de6af0f6 commit e8cd111aeb3e14717a2e41d9bed76207de6af0f6 Author: Naoki Fukino <fukino@chromium.org> Date: Tue Feb 20 09:10:49 2018 Files app: Make sure to hide scrollbar on directory tree rows. Depending on DPI settings, there is a chance to show unnecessary scroll bar on directory tree rows. As we don't need to scroll labels of directory tree rows, we can just overflow property to hidden.
