Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Take the following HTML (http://jsfiddle.net/x7acyr1o/):

And CSS:

```

What is the expected behavior?
I would expect the text from the third list item to be truncated with ellipsis

What went wrong?
The text from the third list item is just cut with no ellipsis
