Able to reproduce this issue on Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #64.0.3275.0 and latest stable #62.0.3202.94. Issue is not seen on OS-Mac. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

From the repro: 'The ellipsis is treated correctly when kerning is disabled', I don't observe this difference in Chrome stable 62.0.3202.89 on Ubuntu 16.04 - regardless of the kerning setting the ellipses are incorrectly positioned or cut off.

Yes, it is broken in both cases (both in Chromium and WebKit). Didn't remember the test case provided here was stating wrongly it would work with kerning disabled. Sorry for the misleading comment in the test case! |
