Issue descriptionWhen I enter www.google.com there is a search bar. Below it contains two tabs. One is Google search. Other is I'm feeling lucky. When I typed a query, the related phrases appear below. That is really useful. But there is a bug. When I find a related phrase I click on it. When Click on it centre I make a google search. When I move down the phrase paste into the search bar. If I wanna make I'm feeling lucky then I click that tab. For google search, I click the relevant tab. If I'm feeling lucky is shorted to IMFL and shown on the right I could do a faster search and get a direct answer thanks to Google search engine. Hope it works. Thanking you. Thanks google.

sc00335628@, I think the reporter is asking that we add a button "IMFL" next to each suggestion that, when clicked, behaves like "I'm Feeling Lucky" instead of a Google search. I believe they want it to "save a step". gkarthickraj20@, if this is correct, can you flip the Type from "Bug" to "Feature" ?

krb@, judging from the screenshot, the user is requesting that the google.com home page add this "I'm feeling lucky" feature in the dropdown. This isn't a request for Chrome. (That said, you can make an analogous Chrome request if you want, but right now this is about the google.com, not Chrome.)

I agree that this is a feature request (IMFL button on each suggested search line), and that the feature request is actually for google.com, not Chrome. I'm not even sure where to file google.com suggestions. Anyone?

I filed an internal bug - number 70048060 - to suggest this idea. Thanks for the suggestion. This isn't a Chrome issue so I'm closing it as ExternalDependency.

Changing this one to WontFix because there's nothing in Chrome we would do even after anyone did something with this server-side.

For the record, apparently if you scroll down to the query suggestion you want, then click the "I'm feeling lucky" button at the bottom of the dropdown, Google will do an I'm-feeling-lucky search for that query. Hope that helps! |
