Perpetual tab pop ups under various names asking to click links. Currently it is "http://up142.com/install/", it used to be "appnord.xyz"

Reported by raphaell...@live.co.uk, Nov 18 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. I just have to close the tabs to eliminate but they pop up constantly
2. Is there a way to prevent them from coming up every time I use chrome? I have ad and popup blocker extentions
3.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
I'm not sure if it causes any malware on chrome or on my harddrive but is very disconcerting

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6

If you're seeing unexpected popups, you may have some success with a adware/malware removal tool such as (for Mac): https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/mac/
