Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open chrome 2. Navigate to any web page 3. Create desktop shortcut for that page. 4. Plain icon instead of the Chrome circle. What is the expected behavior? Shortcut icon should look like chrome icon What went wrong? Internet shortcut icons are blank instead of looking like the chrome icon. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

"unable to reproduce the issue on the reported chrome version stable 62.0.3202.94 using windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Opened Chrome. 2. Navigated to a web page. 3. Created a desktop shortcut for the web page. We obsereved the icon has been created as per the opened web page. Attaching the screen cast of the same. @Reporter: Could you please check the screen cast and try the same in a new profile. Any further inputs from your end helps us to triage the issue in a better way. Thanks!"

The attachment never made it through. I found a workaround/fix. I set firefox as my default browser, and it changed all the shortcuts to the firfox logo. Then I made chrome my default browser and any new ones I created had the chrome logo. To change the ones that I already had I opened them again in chrome and waited a few moments and they changed to the chrome logo or is some cases the webpages logo. For example the Amazon link changed to the Amazon logo. Albert

As per C#3, the issue seems to be resolved as the chrome logo is created on desktop. Could you please confirm if this issue can be closed
