Reported by n...@airshipvms.com, Nov 18 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.94 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Sign into chromium bug tracking
2. Post comment on bug https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=728108
3. Submit and observe comment get deleted

What is the expected behavior?
For comments to not get deleted

What went wrong?
Comments are getting deleted for no apparent reason. I have tried VPNs and alternate accounts with different words and this appears to be deleting every comment coming into it. Why??

Not sure if this affects other bugs as Im not going to go around commenting on other stuff, but this is the bug I'm having issues with:

https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=728108

Did this work before? Yes

Chrome version: 62.0.3202.94 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.13.1

jrobbins@, lot of users (non-chromium) are complaining about this issue. Can you please take a look?

Nick, I see that most of your recent comments are getting through. And, our spam false-positives have decreased in general. We re-implemented our spam detection implementation and retrained the ML model.

As to why it happened to Nick at the time this issue was initially reported, my guess is that other users don't see value in those comments and so they flagged the comments. When our ML model saw more comments that were very similar and repetitive, they were automatically marked as spam. To avoid that problem in the future, make sure that each comment adds some valuable new information, otherwise you should just star the issue to indicate your interest in seeing it resolved.

@jrobbins Im calling bs on the "other users don't see value in those comments and so they flagged the comments"

The comments being deleted were being deleted immediately after posting, with no delay whatsoever. Unless everyone immediately flagged it within seconds of me posting, it was a fluke.

Nonetheless, I havent seen this issue since about a day after reporting it, so this has long been fixed.

Thanks!
