Did this work before? Yes latest chromium on debian 8

Chrome version: 62.0.3202.89 Channel: stable
OS Version: Debian 9
Flash Version:

reopening issue #506838 just as the bot said, as this seems to affect multiple people using debian 9 + chromium. It might be a bug specific to an input library version included in debian 9 as if i recall correctly it did work on debian 8. According to the previous issue at least one other person has the same problem running the same debian version.

As the issue is related to defining a hotkey in ~/.XCompose, this seems to be out of TE-scope. Hence CCing yukishiino, shuchen, request someone to take a look at this issue

Thanks!

I'll take a look at this issue.
I tried to reproduce this issue on my sid-based machine, but couldn't reproduce it.
If it still happens, can you tell me versions of libgtk and libX11?
It reproduces on my local machine, 67.0.3396.99. but it doesn't happen on chrome built by myself...
