Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10032.32.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.42 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10032.32.0 (Official Build) beta-channel samus Example URL: Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enable Bluetooth on Pixel 2 XL, Enable Bluetooth on Chromebook 2. Attempt to pair devices What is the expected behavior? Devices pair and will be available for all the fun Bluetooth features that the Pixel 2 XL offers to Chromebooks (like quick tethering, SmartUnlock, etc). What went wrong? Chromebook displays on the phone as a paired device (but not connected) Error appears on the Chromebook as a modal and a notification (see Screenshot) Device appears within the "Paired devices" but willnot connect. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 63.0.3239.42 Channel: stable OS Version: 10032.32.0 Flash Version: 27.0.0.187 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so This is the state from all the devices I have tested including this Pixel (samus), a Flip (veyron_minnie), and an Asus Chromebox (panther). Wondering if this has anything to do with the Pixel using EXT4 as a FS (not listed as a supported Filesystem at https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183093 - linked from the Bluetooth Troubleshooter https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2587653 next to "Make sure that the Bluetooth device works with your Chromebook. Chromebooks cannot pair to the phone via the regular bluetooth pairing method. If you want to use tethering and smartlock, please follow the setup on settings page. Tethering - Chrome://settings -> Search 'tether' -> Follow instructions to set up via mobile data page. SmartLock - Chrome://settings -> Screen lock -> Set up smartlock. Hope this helps. |
