Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1.On CTS 8.0_R1 run cts -m CtsWebkitTestCases -t android.webkit.cts.WebSettingsTest#testEnableSafeBrowsing on device which android system webview version is V61 or V62 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? test pass What went wrong? CTS 8.0_R1 test fail,when android webview version is V60 will pass,update it to V61 or V 62,test will fail. CTS 8.0_R3 test pass even if webview version is V61 or V62 WebStore page: Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: n/a OS Version: Android O80 Flash Version: I don't know where to find CTS Tool update notes. I want to know if CTS Tool update has fixed some issue about the test case(android.webkit.cts.WebSettingsTest#testEnableSafeBrowsing) Sorry if bother you.

Note that the current stable version of Chrome/WebView is 64.0.3282.137 - does it fail on 64? You should be using the latest stable, not 61 or 62.

There was an issue with that CTS test. We fixed the test and cherry picked the change back to the O branch, but I don't remember which release that was in. Please see https://android-review.googlesource.com/c/platform/cts/+/491277

well, I guess you should be using the latest version of cts available. sounds like you are saying it's already fixed with R3 |
