I think this is a variant on a class of bugs where we raster the SVG into a fixed, small canvas and then send it to pdf. The result is blurry due to the resampling from the rastered SVG. Way back when I thought there was a Skia effort to have SVG raster directly into pdf. Did that go anywhere? Am I mis-remembering? Is this now a Chrome problem to fix?

I'm seeing a similar issue with a very small SVG I'm using to simulate leader dots

I am having the same issue, with svg patterns I expected Chrome to use pdf tiling brushes and maintain their appearance. In the attached file the column on the left is made with a canvas, and the column on the right is made with a svg in html. When saved to pdf in Chrome, the svg is very pixelated and looks terrible compared to the canvas. |
