Text selection jumps 1 character right when text selection handle is touched. |

Issue description#### Copied from internal bug #### Text selection modification is behaving weirdly on certain web-pages. When modified, the selection moves 1 character right regardless of the length of the selection. See the video attached. - Chrome version 63.0.3239.8 - Device: Pixel STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Go to http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/locations/snoqualmie-permanent-welcome-to-twin-peaks-sign/ 2. Select the address in the first paragraph. 3. Move selection handles. EXPECTED RESULTS: The selection changes according to the selection handle position. OBSERVED RESULTS: The whole selection is offset by one character to the right every time any selection handle is touched. NUMBER OF TIMES YOU WERE ABLE TO REPRODUCE: 10/10 Attaching video. #### Copy end #### I can repro this in both Chrome and WebView on this website. Mark this as RBS.

This issue is reproducible on ChromeOS and Linux (probably also on Windows though I haven't tried). The issue is that the handles are being positioned one character after where they should be. I think this is because the big "T" at the beginning of the article causes the character offset to be incorrect. Also this problem is not observed when selecting text after the "original sign painter" link. There is a similar problem when we do an in page search. For example searching for "the" will highlight "he " instead of "the".
