Launch chrome, open NTP and click on ‘search by voice’ icon seen within the search box (Permission bubble appears). 2. Keep the bubble open and click on ‘View’ menu in chrome toolbar. 3. Now, try to check/uncheck ‘Always show toolbar..’ option and observe. Actual Result : Unable to check/uncheck ‘Always show toolbar..’ option when permission prompt is open. Expected Result : User should be able to check/uncheck ‘Always show toolbar..’ option even when permission prompt is open. This is a regression issue broken in ‘M-62’ and using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results, Good build : 62.0.3166.0 (Revision : 489162) Bad build : 62.0.3167.0 (Revision : 489499) You are probably looking for a change made after (known good), but no later than (first known bad). This is a minor polish issue - adding to trackers for that. Some background: menus are updated/validated based on the key window. Older bubbles used a 'shared keystate' private API that resulted in the browser window validating menu items even though a bubble had key focus. Now, the bubble window _actually_ has key focus (the browser window merely _draws_ as though it shared key focus). So it's likely that the bubble is being asked whether or not a checkmark should show, and it doesn't know how to answer. I'm not sure what the fix is.
