Aw snap error when opening browser and any web page including settings etc

Reported by merkury...@gmail.com, Nov 12 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open yellow icon for canary chrome
2. immediately goes to aw snap error on 32 bit Win 7
3. 64 bit win 7 does not have this problem

What is the expected behavior?
Canary chrome should open like the regular chrome release

What went wrong?
I have multiple computers with windows 7 32 bit and multiple computers with windows 7 64 bit. On all of the computers I have standard regular chrome release and canary chrome installed and on every single 32 bit Windows 7 when I click the icon to load chrome it goes straight "Aw Snap" error and will not load a single page. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and renaming \Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome SxS\User Data\Default to oldDefault but problem persists.

Crashed report ID: no

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes Not sure but it worked prior to 11/10/17, now all 32 bit computers will not open Canary Chrome

Chrome version: 64.0.3266.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

Screen shows I tried going to settings but this happens as soon as the browser opens and if you type in any web page address.

Can you report the server crash ID from chrome://crashes?
As stated no page can be opened but here you go. If it is logged to a file or something I can provide that or look there?

is it possible to download previous versions of Canary so I could try and see if previous version works? I can only find the small install file that just downloads the latest version which does not work

so it's not possible to get past releases of canary to see if one of those starts working?

Thanks for the update..

Unable to reproduce the crash on windows 7 & 10 using chrome canary M64 #64.0.3266.0 and latest M64 #64.0.3267.0.

Could you please try in latest canary and with a system restart in a fresh chrome profile without any extensions and flags enabled and update us with your observations.

Thanks!
