I am using a 32-bit machine with 2GB RAM. I have tried the stable version, but it still crashes. Is it a memory problem?

Thank you for the reply. I have now tried the version #62.0.3202.89. But it crashes, if I tries to open more than one tab. When I update and install, I am getting the version #62.0.3202.89. How do I get the exact version? How do I get a clean profile ? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. I have tried this, still it crashes. I can't even open the chromium. When it crashes, a window pop-up with the title "Problem in chrome". The message in the window is, "Sorry, the program "chrome" closed unexpectedly. Your computer does not have enough memory to automatically analyse the problem and send a report to the developers" Is this due to the memory of my laptop ? Thanks in advance

Hi, Few more update. I managed to install the 62.0.3202.94 version now. Even after that, chromium crashes with following message. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using PPAPI flash. --ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version= ATTENTION: default value of option force_s3tc_enable overridden by environment. [3168:3227:1125/011057.410080:ERROR:platform_thread_posix.cc(123)] pthread_create: Resource temporarily unavailable (11) [3168:3168:1125/011058.630175:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(290)] GLib: creating thread 'gmain': Error creating thread: Resource temporarily unavailable Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) ------------------------------------------------------------ Is there any solution for this ? Thanks in advance Regards, Jithesh

susanjuniab@: This is not a very effective way of trying to get people involved. It looks like pthread_create is failing to create another thread. This is not a memory allocation issue. platform_thread_posix is part of base, so adding Internals>Core as per OWNERS file. The issue itself may just be obsolete by now.
