Extension popups sometimes not focusable |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue description1. Install the Dashlane or Lastpass extension 2. Login on a site where the password isn't saved in Dashlane or Lastpass yet. 3. Try to click on the save button in the extension popup. Expected: The save button gets clicked and the popup gets dismissed. Actual: Nothing appears to happen. However, keyboard focus appears to have been silently transferred to the extension popup--so you can tab around and focus the controls and use [Enter] to activate them. Wild hypothesis: Mouse coordinates aren't getting correctly transformed, so the mouse click on the extension popup causes it to be focused, but the actual click itself gets ignored, since it doesn't hit test to a button. Oddly enough, this problem doesn't seem to happen if the extension popup is opened by clicking on the icon in the toolbar area; it only seems to happen when an extension creates the popup by itself in response to an event. Current CrOS version: 64.0.3255.0

(I know that's Windows 10 and this is ChromeOS, but it sounds like similar symptoms.)

I can confirm that this seems to go away if I set the resolution to the native resolution. So it sounds very much like issue 659642. Thanks! |
