Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run the following command
new Intl.DateTimeFormat('is-IS', { month: 'short' }).format(new Date());
should return "nóv."
or
new Intl.DateTimeFormat('is-IS', { weekday: 'short'}).format(new Date())
should return "fös."
What is the expected behavior?
Should return icelandic month and weekday names
What went wrong?
For month it returns "M11" and for weekday it returns "Fri"
Did this work before? No

baldurarna@ Thank you for the issue. Able to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04 using the latest Stable 62.0.3202.89 and Canary 64.0.3266.0 . On running the above given command in Devtools -> Console, can observe that output as 'M11' and 'Mon' respectively. Firefox is showing the expected behavior. Attached are the screen shots for reference. This is a Non-Regression issue as this is observed from M50 chrome builds. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks.
