Cfm client side issue: Unable to use cfm when connected to ethernet

Issue description

ChromeOS version: 61.0.3163.123
Cfm device model: ASUS Chromebox CN60
Case#: 13940089

Description: Unable to use cfm when connected to ethernet

Steps to reproduce: connect Chrome for meeting using ethernet cable

Current Behavior / Reproduction: 
it show this error message:
“Unable to connect to Google. Retrying..”
Expected Behavior: 
connect to meet

Date and time of the issue reproduced: 10/20/2017 around 4 pm JST 
FB has been sent at: 10/20/2017 at 3:56 pm JST 
 
I've another customer with the same issue but different HW:

Do they see error code "ERROR_xxx" at the bottom right of (or somewhere in) screen? That should give the additional information on the error.

Customer has confirmed he’s not seeing any error code such as "ERROR_xxx".
Please advise what else I can suggest the customer to do for resolution.

Status: WontFix (was: Untriaged)
The error message in screenshots are in Japanese, but it's actually "Hangouts (Meet) is unable to connect to Google" in English UI. This usually indicates that Cfm is unable to connect to Google hosts required to start Hangouts, due to client side network restrictions for example.

Let's move our investigation to internal bug tracker, b/69319625.
