Tested the issue in Android and observed that Chrome closes upon closing all the tabs. Steps Followed: 1. Launched the Chrome Browser. 2. Close all the tabs from the Chrome browser. 3. Observed weird bold font Chrome versions tested: 59.0.3030.0, 62.0.3202.84, 63.0.3239.41 (Beta), 64.0.3261.0 (dev), 64.0.3264.0, 64.0.3257.0, 64.0.3258.0 OS Android 7.0.0, Android 8.1.0 Android Devices 7.0.0 SM-J710F Build/NRD90M, Pixel XL Build/OPM1.171019 Using the reverse bisect providing the bisect results, Below is the bisect info ======================= Chrome Good Build -- 64.0.3258.0 Chrome Bad Build -- 64.0.3257.0 https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/64.0.3257.0..64.0.3258.0?pretty=fuller&n=10000 From the above revision range suspecting the following change have fixed the issue and assigning the issue to the owner concerned-- https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/65dfdb07a40401ceecf3d36fc1a0f02c032b2a3d @wychen -- Could you please look into the issue. I believe this is intended behavior. When homepage is enabled, Chrome would close after all tabs are closed. If you don't want this behavior, you can turn off homepage in Settings, Home page, Off. The "good" revision in 64.0.3258.0 is actually buggy. It wrongly ignored the homepage setting, so it essentially disabled homepage, thus the changed behavior. See issue 783048.
