Regression : 'Couldn't find your google Account' error message is still seen even on deleting text at 'Enter your email' field in Sign-in Page

Issue description

Chrome Version: 63.0.3239.42/10032.32.0 beta-channel Daisy,Reks and Candy
OS: Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Recover Build -> In Sign-in screen enter any text at 'Enter your email' field (Ex: abcde) -> Click on 'NEXT' button
(2)Now observe 'Couldn't find your google Account' error message -> press 'Backspace' key and observe still error message is seen
(3)Delete whole text and observe error message is still seen(Please refer video)

Expected: 'Couldn't find your google Account' error message should not be seen on deleting whole text 
Actual: Instead error message is still seen even on deleting text

This is Regression issue as same is working fine in M-60

@wzang : Please confirm the Issue

Note: Issue is also seen on latest M-64 and on M-61

I think this needs to re-evaluated. 
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
This is working as intended.
