Focus on compass needle gets chopped in google map

Chrome Version : 64.0.3263.0 (Official Build) fd1e89557fa78a467061f732a8473fd863a89b1a-refs/heads/master@{#515052} 32/64-bit

OS: Windows(7,8,10)

Steps to reproduce:
1.Launch chrome and navigate to google maps. 
2.Press tab upto compass needle and observe.

Actual Result : focus on compass needle gets chopped in google map

Expected Result : focus on compass needle should not get chopped in google map

This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M-50 build.

As this being a Non-Regression issue, changing the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed.

Do you mean "chopped" by that all the compass needle doesn't covered
by blue border line as the attached screenshot?

I think this is working as expected, as designed by Google Maps.
This is not a browser bug at all.
