Issue descriptionChrome Version: 64.0.3262.0 (Official Build) d4f91d118274c0f0583e7a6f196be6c48da4acc9-refs/heads/master@{#514703} 32/64-bit. OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.12.6,10.13.2). What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch Chrome and navigate to chrome://settings/appearance page. 2. Change the font size to 'Very small' from drop-down list. 3. Now type any keyword in 'Search settings' text-box and observe the close (X) button. Font size of close button doesn't change. Font size of close button should change. This is a non-regression issue, seen from M-52 series. Kindly review the attached screen-cast for reference.

I don't think that decreasing the size of the 'x' icon is better in any way. The icon is not a font to begin with. I suggest WontFix. @dschuyler: Any thoughts?

I agree on the WontFix. We have Zoom to change both the text size and controls size. Having font size only change the font size sounds desired. |
