Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the browser 2. Go to a webpage or Google Doc 3. What is the expected behavior? Access web pages and use Google Docs. What went wrong? Browser crashed and sometimes the tabs will stop responding, shortly after "Oops, something went wrong" error box pops up. Ultimately leads to the entire browser crashing as well. Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 62.0.3202.75 Channel: stable OS Version: 7.0 Flash Version: 24.0.0.194 We have tried the following: Clearing cache, browsing history, cookies..etc. Un-checking "Use hardware acceleration" Chrome Cleanup Tool Uninstalled/Reinstalled Chrome Ran in incognito Removed and added back user profile from PC Completely rebuilt user PC and only copied back user folder Installed Canary (Does the same thing)

The user has the option to automatically send crash reports to Google, when I access the Chrome://crashes page it says they all have not been uploaded as you can see above. When I click "Send now" it does nothing.

can you try to navigate to <user profile>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Crashpad and see if you can find the crash dumps there. If so, please zip up a few of the most recent ones and share them with us for investigation. You can share them with my email pastarmovj at chromium.org. Be informed that they can contain privacy relevant information since they are a partial snapshot of the Chrome process at the time of the crash.

+scottmg Scott, from those dumps I see we don't really crash for some error but rather because some threads seems to be blocked. Can you please give some advice how can one see what caused Chome to call DumpWithoutCrashing. I mean obviously there are plenty of places in the code that call this but how can one se from the crash dump which happened?

Yeah, those renderer hangs aren't very useful unfortunately. Maybe +siggi has some tips on how to extract some signal out of them.

Any chance you might be running out of memory on that machine? As mentioned above some crashes hint at the browsers running out of memory and thus crashing some of the tab processes?

It is pretty much a brand new PC, we also rebuilt the OS as stated before. It is a Lenovo W540 powerhouse with 16GB of RAM. Unless Chrome itself is causing the memory leak I don't know how it would be running out...this is the only application the user has ever had trouble with, other than Canary..which does the same thing.
