Dual icon(instead single icon) on Unity panel(Launcher).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Google Chrome
2. Start it from Applications(or from command line)
3. Lock it to Unity panel(Launcher)
4. Close Google Chrome - the icon is locked.
5. Start Google Chrome from terminal(type: google-chrome) 
6. Google Chrome starts, but there are two icons on Unity panel.

What is the expected behavior?
Expected to Unity pane(Launcher) has single icon.

What went wrong?
6. Two icons on Unity panel.

Did this work before? Yes 

Chrome version: 62.0.3202.62  Channel: stable
OS Version: Ubuntu 17.04

Able to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 16.04 with the chrome reported version #62.0.3202.62,stable #62.0.3202.94,canary #64.0.3270.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Installed Google Chrome
2. Started it from Applications(or from command line)
3. Locked it to Unity panel(Launcher)
4. Closed Google Chrome - the icon is locked.
5. Started Google Chrome from terminal(type: google-chrome) 
6. Google Chrome starts and observed two icons on Unity panel.

This is a Non-Regression issue seen from M-50 builds.Hence,marking it as Untriaged.

We recently fixed a similar icon issue.  Is this now fixed in the dev channel?
