Tabs closing when tapping on address line

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Pull down current browser tab, so that the refresh, close and new tab buttons are visible. 2. Leave this menu, so that the upslide animation is starting. 3. Tap on the address bar at 66% horizontal position (about 0.8 second after leaving this menu) round about the location where the "X" button was shown before. 4. Current tab is closed What is the expected behavior? Current address can be edited. However the menu buttons are activated. This is highly unexpected, since even when the upper menu is only slided down a bit so that the buttons have not even been showing, the close current tab button is somehow clickable. What went wrong? The tab is closed although the address bar has been clicked. It feels like the current tab is crashed, but the close button was accessed. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 62.0.3202.70 Channel: n/a OS Version: 11.1 Flash Version: You have to be pretty fast to do step 3, the upslide animation however takes about 0.9 seconds. Within this time all button actions are accessible (although they are not visible). This bug has been there forever and is pretty annoying sometimes.

Yes, true. I think the bug is underestimated.. at least for me it used to happen like 2-3 times a day and i always thought it is a tab-crash. Makes a buggy feeling to the user. |
