Advisory: CVE-2017-15299 Details: http://vomit.googleplex.com/advisory?id=CVE/CVE-2017-15299 CVSS severity score: 4.9/10.0 Description: The KEYS subsystem in the Linux kernel through 4.13.7 mishandles use of add_key for a key that already exists but is uninstantiated, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted system call. Fixed in upstream commit 60ff5b2f547af3828aebafd54daded44cfb0807a. Fixed in chromeos-4.4 with merge of v4.4.96. Also filed as b/69026854. rkolchmeyer@ will apply to M-63 for chromeos-4.4.
