Im using Version 62.0.3202.89 of Chromium and the issue is fixed in this version. When the issue used to happen ( before update), it wasn't recorded in about:crashes, so I probably wouldn't be able to provide you crash id even if the bug still persisted. To reproduce the bug on previous version ( the one I've used before update) you should make sure that ru layout is active, open the browser, click on address bar and type any letter. However i use arch, so a bunch of other stuff also got updated as i used "pacman -Syu" command. Yet no other app crashed/closed when i was typing in russian layout prior to update.
