Strange artifact when rendering pictures with dark color

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://images.anandtech.com/doci/11868/toshibacar2_678x452.jpg Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. See the picture in the URL 2. Strange artifact in black area. 3. What is the expected behavior? The artifact should not present. What went wrong? The left side is Chrome, and the other side is Edge, my PC is Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I think this problem does not happen about 3 months ago

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported version 61.0.3163.100, latest stable 62.0.3202.89 and on latest canary 64.0.3261.0 on Windows 10, Mac 10.12.6 and Ubuntu 14.04. @Reporter:Could you please check this issue by upgrading chrome to latest stable M62-62.0.3202.89 by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions and please let us know if the issue still persist or not. Thanks!

Almost certainly color profile problems. Most issues should be fixed in M-62 which is rolling out now. If not, please locate and attach the color profile that your computer is using.
