autocomplete does not replace the text in input

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3253.3 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. begin to type in any text in auto complete history in the field
2. select one 
3. the selected content is not show in the field, insteas only what you just type in

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
The autocomplete does not work

Did this work before? Yes 2 dev version before

Chrome version: 64.0.3253.3  Channel: dev
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

Fixed in Chrome Canary so this is apparently a duplicate of  issue 777097 .
