Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.6, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #62.0.3202.75 and latest canary #64.0.3256.0. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Attached a screen cast for reference. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

Mike, could you provide more repro details and check that this issue is reproducible in Canary? I believe that we landed some source map improvements which probably fixed the problem. Repro from #2 is not related to this bug (new tab page does not use source maps) and actually works as intended.

Hi Kozy - I tried Canary and it works there!! In the attached, I can put a breakpoint on line 37 which I couldn't previously. I didn't know about Canary previously... will try there first next time! Thanks for reviewing it. Please close the issue.
