17jiangz1@, thank you for the report. Would be great if you can share the repro case if possible?
17jiangz1@: You write that the whole browser crashes. Can you please also attach the Apple Crash log here and the latest server crash id from chrome://crashes ? Thanks.
I have very same experience. No chance to reproduce the problem.
Freezes occurs quite often - mostly 1x - 2x per day. No particular website, plugin. It just freezes everything.

17jiangz1@/ jankavalir@, just wondering what's the main purpose of using your MBP on daily basis? Simply browsing, play videos and any third party software you are using for a long time?
Status: ExternalDependency (was: Unconfirmed)
anecdote: chromium developers on 10.13 had a lot of problems with race conditions in the OS network stack. Early reports are that they may have gone away in 17C60c but that doesn't mesh with #c3.

This is unlikely to be a Chrome issue. We can help if you can provide a repro or an Apple Crash log.
I have been unable to find a repro case for the issue and the crashes are not present in chrome://crashes. I mainly use Chrome for browsing and google drive/youtube. I have not experience crashes since using Safari and therefore believe it to be a Chrome issue.
Do you have anything in 'System Reports' in Console.app?
Nothing with a timestamp that coincides with the freezes and subsequent restart.
