Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.75 Safari/537.36 Example URL: www.phoronix.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open chromium and load a website (www.phoronix.com, for example) 2. open another program and use alt+tab to focus chromium window 3. use your touch screen to open a link from the website that you loaded in the step 1 What is the expected behavior? Link is correctly loaded What went wrong? chromium downloads a file (html, php, etc) instead loads the link Did this work before? No Chrome version: 62.0.3202.75 Channel: stable OS Version: Arch Linux Flash Version: 27.0.0.183 This bug also affects the chromium-based browsers Opera and Vivaldi.

The issue seems to be Linux touch screen specific. Hence, adding label TE-Hardware-Dependency as the device is not available at TE-India and also adding TE-NeedsTriageFromMTV and requesting someone from MTV team to please have a look into the issue. Thanks...!!
