Retarget .Main back to CTA for non-modern APK |

Issue description.Main alias was retargeted to CTA to improve startup time on Android Go devices (issue 761606). However, we had to target .Main back to ChromeLauncherActivity for K and below because of AGSA/CCT issue 778834. The core of the issue is that AGSA hardcodes .Main alias for CCT intents (issue 776456). Once they fix that and the update is sufficiently propagated, we should retarget .Main back to CTA for non-modern APK.

There is an issue on some devices where default browser (not necessarily Chrome) gets reset when Chrome update changes VIEW handler name ( issue 805372 ). So I think we better leave K- devices as they are.

Can you update the TODO in AndroidManifest.xml to reflect this? (or remove it) |
