Video sound keeps playing after leaving video page

Issue description

Example URL:
youtube.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Navigate to youtube.com (main page)
2. Start any video
3. When video starts to load (but controls have not shown yet) navigate back

What is the expected behavior?
Return to main page and keep silence

What went wrong?
Browser returns to main page, but starts to play video sound in background

Tested the issue using Chrome Stable# 61.0.3163.98 / 62.0.3202.73 and Chrome Canary# 64.0.3255.2 using Pixel (Android 8.0.0 / OPR1 170623.027) and could not reproduce the issue.

Hi, first time I got it on my Nexus 5X/Android 8
But also, I'm able to reproduce it on college's Huawei (no ideas about model, but it is Android 5.0)

Tested the issue on Nexus 5X (Android 8.1.0) and could not reproduce the issue using Chrome Stable# 61.0.3163.98 / 62.0.3202.73 and Chrome Canary# 64.0.3256.0.

Could some one from MTV Team please test the device on Huawei device as per Comment# 3 and provide an update.

Tested the issue on Chrome Stable# 62.0.3202.73 using Huawei Honor KIW-L22 / Android 6.0.1 and was not able to reproduce the issue.

@rsgavara -- Could you please check on Huawei with Android 8.0 as the specific OS is not available with Hyd team.

Could you let me jump in and elaborate this issue in detail?
My test steps are:
1. Open up Chrome
2. Go to https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTj88Exkn4NronwoAllVsr9MI0s_pg5yb
3. Play the first content in the list
4. Watch the content until it's reach to the end
5. Second content is automatically played with progress animation right after first content is over.
6. When you see the progress animation on second content, just go to home screen by home button.
7. You can hear the sound of second content on the home screen.

Could you double-check this issue and let me know it's intended behavior or it's a bug to be fixed?

#14: I can reproduce this on a Pixel 2, but as far as I know it is not an expected behavior.

I see that the MediaSession notification is visible, and I am able to pause/play via those controls.

Switching back to Chrome briefly removes the session and controls.

mlamouri@: Are you aware of any change to use of MediaSession on the YouTube side?
