Can you check whether authpolicyd is running in ps? I would have expected yes, but the error indicates it's not running. When I tried here, it did run. Strange. If it's NOT running, enter this: echo "3" > /run/authpolicyd/flags_default_level This does the same as authpolicy_debug 3 would do if authpolicy was running. You might have to create the folder first if it doesn't exist. Then repro the problem and check authpolicy.log. It should be significantly longer and contain stuff like disable_seccomp OFF log_seccomp ON ... If you see that, it worked.

I don't see authpolicyd running. Chrome OS: 62.0.3202.74 Beta 9901.54.0 Kevin device. Here's a video showing the Enterprise Enrollment and the AD "Device Join" screen and then going to the shell to check for authpolicyd via ps, and then trying to set the debug . https://drive.google.com/a/google.com/file/d/1-CXvCJqt4D3X4LSeM2YSLtGtycXFalgL/view?usp=sharing What version is the chromad team testing on?

WAI, kinda. Kevin is an ARM board (aarch64) and we currently don't support ARM (and we do a terrible job messaging this). Authpolicy only runs on x86-64 and it just won't start on ARM or 32 bit x86. I'll file a bug to add an error message in Chrome.

Can you confirm that it works on an x64 board? |
